In May 2019, the company again sent a team composed of 16 representatives from the Production Department, the Technology Department, the General Management Department and the Sales Department to Japan to participate in Toyota TPS lean production management training. Lean production management originates from the Toyota Production System (TPS), and is a complete set of enterprise management models refined and sorted out from the best practices of Toyota Motor Corporation and other global mainstream enterprises and non-profit organizations. Its basic idea is to take people as the center, adhere to the concept of green development, respect for employees and continuous improvement, and create value for enterprise stakeholders by thoroughly eliminating waste, fluctuation and rigidity, pursuing the rationality of product manufacturing and cost saving based on quality.
During the one-week training, the research team visited the Toyota Industrial Technology Museum, Toyota Factory, CHIYODA INDUSTRY and MIFUNE production sites. Through centralized teaching and field visit, we learned the basic concept of Toyota's production mode, felt the spirit of Toyota's striving for perfection, and witnessed the establishment and operation of process management, quality management, logistics management and automation system. Trainers introduced Toyota's spirit of striving for technological innovation and improvement to the trainees, and carried out in-depth communication and exchange with them. The trainees humbly asked the teachers about production, logistics, technology, personnel training and other related issues. The teachers summarized their years of work experience in Toyota, gave patient guidance and answered them one by one.
After a week of intensive training, the students passed the TPS acceptance test with high scores, received unanimous praise from the teachers, and obtained the completion certificate. The trainees experienced the foreign manufacturing culture, broadened their horizons and enriched their knowledge, and realized the importance of establishing standards, standardizing management, studying hard and improving in work. In the current increasingly fierce market competition environment, how to ensure the competitiveness of low cost, high quality and timely delivery under sustainable profits is a problem that every manufacturing factory needs to consider. How to transform the enduring TPS into SPS (Sinomag Production System) requires each student to constantly explore in practice, persevere in seeking improvement, and achieve improvement and transcendence step by step.
